At the 2026 International Overdose Awareness Day, the Southside Task Force (SSTF) united with community partners to bring awareness, resources, and hope to Chicago’s South Side. We were especially honored to stand alongside our special partners, ABC 7 News and Dr. Mica Battles of Bridge to Freedom, whose support helped amplify our message and strengthen our impact. Together, we continue to raise awareness, inspire hope, promote prevention, and build healthier, safer communities.
